The Y Relies on You
As a cause-driven organization for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Huntington YMCA works side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in Y programs.
To do our important work, the Y relies on support from members, donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
For a lifetime of opportunities

“The YMCA is ultimately how I became me. The relationships, that lifelong friends that I met, the coaches I had at the Y… all helped develop the man I am today.”
Patrick Patterson
Former NBA Basketball Player
and YMCA Buddy Basketball All-Star
The YMCA of Huntington’s Capital Campaign will establish a new, state-of-the-art Multi-Purpose Gymnasium at the Phil Cline Family YMCA and two premium turf soccer fields at the YMCA Kennedy Center complex.
The YMCA hopes to raise $4 million to make both projects possible.

Your donations will help enrich the lives of youth and the underprivileged and provide a healthy learning environment that will follow them throughout their lives.
As a leading nonprofit organization in Cabell County, the Huntington YMCA provided over $300,000.00 in 2025 to underprivileged youth, seniors and individuals with disabilities to use for Y financial assistance memberships.
The Y also provided program subsidy ensuring many underprivileged youth, teen, and preventive wellness programs are provided at a reduced rate or no cost.
Programs benefitting from subsidy include the Youth Spring and Fall Soccer Program, Youth Basketball, Water Safety, Swim Lessons and also provide health and nutrition through the Kids in Motion Program.
